C4.1 Statically Indeterminate Analysis with Torque

This section employs the same method as Chapter 3.4 in Solid Mechanics I to analyse indeterminate torque-loaded members. However we’ll be looking at more complex cases:

  1. beams with slightly loose ends
  2. transfer of torque between gears
  3. uniformly distributed torque scenarios
